Altoona ‘Breakfast and Learn’ session on cybersecurity rescheduled for April 24

The Penn State Altoona "Breakfast and Learn" presentation originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31, has been rescheduled. The presentation by Larry Garvin, instructor in information sciences and technology, will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in room 201 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence. Garvin's presentation will offer an introduction to cybersecurity basics.

ALTOONA, Pa. — The Penn State Altoona "Breakfast and Learn" presentation originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31, has been rescheduled. The presentation by Larry Garvin, instructor in information sciences and technology, will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in room 201 of the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence. Garvin's presentation will offer an introduction to cybersecurity basics.

The presentation is part of Penn State Altoona's new "Breakfast and Learn" series. Upcoming sessions will cover topics such as AI in the workplace, organizational change, recruiting a younger workforce, diversity in the workforce and more.

The cost to attend “Breakfast and Learn” presentations is $20. Registration for the April 24 session will be made available online.
