Penn State Altoona will offer an Engineering Networking Reception and an Engineering Career Fair on Oct. 11 and 12.
The Engineering Networking Reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The Engineering Career Fair will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Slep Student Center. The events are intended for students enrolled in the college's Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Rail Transportation Engineering programs, as well as first- and second-year students pursuing engineering majors.

The Engineering Networking Reception, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts, is a drop-in professional networking event that gives engineering students an opportunity to meet and mingle with recruiters. Attire is business casual.
The Engineering Career Fair will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Slep Student Center. The event is intended for students enrolled in the college's Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Rail Transportation Engineering programs, as well as first- and second-year students pursuing engineering majors.
Attire for the career fair is business professional. Students can visit the Career Service Office, 203 Slep Student Center, to borrow professional attire.
