ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will hold an informational meeting for first-year students interested in various health professions from 12:10 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, in Room 150 of the Hawthorn Building.
Some of the disciplines include allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, veterinary science, physical therapy and physician assistant.
Attending the meeting will allow students to explore their options; learn factors for admission to professional schools, including early admission to the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic medicine; find out about important deadlines, resources and opportunities; and ask questions.
