Penn State Altoona to host suicide prevention program on Sept. 12

Penn State Altoona will host a suicide prevention program at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Slep Student Center.

The Blair County Suicide Prevention Task Force will share "Talk Saves Lives,” developed to teach attendees how to have conversations with peers about suicide and learn the warning signs. A suicide attempt survivor will also speak. Resources and support staff will be present.
