Biography
Jennifer Cacciotti graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Ph.D. in 2015, Her research emphasis is in the area of women’s health and diabetes focusing on risk-taking behaviors, contraceptive use, and sexually transmitted infections. Cacciotti has been published in the Research Journal of Women’s Health, Diabetes, Diabetes Care and The Diabetes Educator. Cacciotti has also presented her research at the American Association of Diabetes Scientific Sessions and the American Association of Diabetic Educators. She currently teaches junior and second degree level nursing students in NUR 320, NUR 306, NUR 200W.
Cacciotti loves spending her free time with her husband, Matt, and their son Gabriel. She enjoys camping, fishing, and just being on the lake.
