Penn State Altoona's University Jazz Band will perform at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Paul R. and Margery Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
A total of six student-athletes from the Penn State Altoona men’s and women’s soccer teams were recognized for their academic successes when the College Sports Communicators organization announced its Academic All-District soccer teams.

David Kimmel, recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Service Award; Richard D. Miller, recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award; and Richard Singer, recipient of the Honorary Alumni Award.

Five members of the Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball program picked up postseason honors from the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, as the league announced its all-conference team and other postseason awards on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
The Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball team will face Juniata College, the top-ranked team in the nation among Division III women’s volleyball programs, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, in the first round of the Huntingdon Region bracket of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
