Julie Decker, instructor in nursing at Penn State Altoona, was recently named a collaborative academic research member on a multi-state project called “Veterans’ Action League” that empowers veterans to have an active voice in guiding their health care delivery.

Penn State Altoona will host playwright Allyson Currin at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Following a performance of her play "Love and Whiskey," Currin will offer a question and answer session about her play.
The Penn State men’s basketball program will bring the Blue-White Hoops Showcase back to Altoona on Oct. 15. The scrimmage begins at noon, followed by a clinic for kids 12 and under, at the Altoona Area High School Fieldhouse.
