Steve Sherrill's latest book, "The Minotaur Takes His Own Sweet Time," was recently reviewed in The New York Times. The book is a sequel to Sherrill's first novel, "The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break." Sherrill, associate professor of English and integrative arts at Penn State Altoona.

Penn State Altoona to present the play 'Love and Whiskey' Oct. 27-29

Penn State Altoona's fall theatre performance, "Love and Whiskey," will take place Oct. 27-29 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The play is set in North Carolina during the Great Depression and revolves around Lucy Mae, a woman in her 30s striving to become the woman she wants to be. Tickets are $5 for Penn State Altoona students and $7 for general admission.
