WTAJ-TV Interview with Penn State Altoona Chancellor Ron Darbeau

Penn State Altoona’s chancellor, Dr. Ron Darbeau, joined WTAJ News on Tuesday, March 21, to outline his vision of the future of Penn State Altoona.

Darbeau took the helm on January 3, 2023, after working as vice president for Faculty Affairs and Academic Operations at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. He said he has a deep affection for higher education and was “pulled by the need to give back” when deciding to come to Penn State Altoona.

Hard Freight Café, an open mic event, will be held on Tuesday, March 28, in the Titelman Study of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts at Penn State Altoona. Attendees are invited to read or perform their own work or music or share a favorite piece of poetry or prose.
