Nine Penn State Altoona nursing students were recently inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, which recognizes nursing students enrolled in baccalaureate programs at accredited institutions of higher education who have completed at least half of the nursing curriculum, rank in the upper 35% of their graduating class, and have achieved academic excellence.
Danielle DelPriore, assistant professor of psychology, and student Pamela Lantz will present on their research, titled, “Minority sexual orientation disclosures and parents’ reproductive concerns.”
A poem by Erin Murphy, professor of English at Penn State Altoona, is being featured by the literary journal Ecotone for the first part of April, National Poetry Month.
Penn State Altoona’s Ivyside Dance Ensemble will present its spring concert, “Shared Earth,” with Allied Motion Dance Company at 7:30 p.m. on April 13 and 14 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The program also will feature a performance by the Children’s Dance Theatre Workshop.
