Twenty-seven Penn State Altoona students who have been studying French, German, and Spanish, were recognized by the college’s World Language Program for their outstanding performance this semester during a luncheon on April 25.
The Craft It, Pitch It, Win It competition, offered by the Altoona LaunchBox supported by the Hite family and the Penn State Altoona Sheetz Fellows Program, was held April 10. Finalists presented to a panel of three judges about a business or product and their plans to implement new marketing strategies.

Innovation TestLab, a multi-week program for high school students, offers participants the opportunity to experience a college classroom setting while learning concepts such as customer discovery, research and feasibility studies, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
