ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona faculty members Brian Onishi, associate professor of philosophy, and Jeff Stoyanoff, assistant professor of English and of women's, gender and sexuality studies, have released a new episode of their "Horror Joy" podcast. In the latest “Meet Your Maker” episode, the hosts engage in a conversation with Stoker Award-winning author Emily C. Hughes.

The discussion focuses on Hughes’ book “Horror for Weenies,” designed to help the faint-hearted navigate through significant horror films. The author talks about the relationship between horror and joy, citing examples of modern twists on classic horror tropes.
