Penn State Altoona to host livestream discussion with journalist Ayesha Rascoe

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will offer a livestream of “Dilemmas of Democracy: A Conversation with Ayesha Rascoe” on Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m., in Room 135 of the Hawthorn Building.

Rascoe is an award-winning journalist, NPR host and former White House correspondent.

The event will feature a student-led discussion exploring how Rascoe’s work as a journalist has shaped her understanding of democracy and informed her approach to navigating difficult conversations.

The discussion is part of the Schreyer Honors College Signature Program, which examines challenges facing modern democracies through lectures, symposia and dialogue.

Pizza and light refreshments will be provided.
