Penn State Altoona to host 'Meals with Moms' events

Looking for some tips on how to best eat while living in a residence hall? “Meals with Moms” has got you covered.

Each month through the end of the semester, three Health and Wellness staff, all moms, will visit a different residence hall. They’ll talk about ways to eat healthy on a budget and meals that can be prepared in your room. They’ll also answer questions.

ALTOONA, Pa. — Looking for some tips on how to best eat while living in a residence hall? “Meals with Moms” has got you covered.

Each month through the end of the semester, three Health and Wellness staff, all moms, will visit with students to talk about ways to eat healthy on a budget and meals that can be prepared in your room. They’ll also answer questions.

“Meals with Moms” events will take place at the following times and locations:

  • Thursday, Sept. 26, from 5 to 6 p.m. in Oak Residence Hall
  • Thursday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center
  • Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center
  • Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 6 p.m., location to be determined
