Biography
Brandon enjoys teaching anatomy and physiology courses, advising students in their biological pursuits, and developing his pedagogy in new, creative ways.
He is an advocate for the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER) and has authored a series of anatomical illustrations, freely available for students and instructors.
When Brandon isn’t hiking or gardening with his family, he is designing tabletop and journaling games as a hobby.
Education
Brandon completed his undergraduate education at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and earned his Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrated Biosciences from Penn State, with an emphasis on Molecular Toxicology. There, he studied the effects of aryl hydrocarbon exposure on the ability of head and neck cancer cells to migrate and survive through chemotherapy treatment.
