Board Games and Puzzles $145
Monday–Friday, June 26–30, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Do you enjoy playing board games and solving puzzles? If so, you will want to sign up for this camp! In this camp, we will play a variety of board games and solve different types of puzzles. This camp focuses on game playing and strategy and creating your own game to play with others.

Scratch Gaming and Programming $145
Monday–Friday, July 10–14, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Are you interested in gaming and programming? If you said yes, then you are going to love this camp! Using the program language Scratch, you will create and program your own animations, games, and interactive stories. You will learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively, which are all essential skills in today’s world.

Create an Online Escape Room $145
Monday–Friday, July 24–28, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Do you like escape rooms? If you said yes, then you are going to love this camp! Using Google applications, you will create virtual escape rooms where you can gather clues, solve puzzles, and escape before time runs out! You will learn creative problem-solving skills and team building skills.

Railroad Engineering: From Heavy-Haul Freight Transportation to High-Speed Rail $145
Tuesday–Friday, July 25–28, from 9:00 a.m.–noon
Instructor: Bryan Schlake and Faeze Ghofrani
Come learn the scientific design of railroad tracks, bridges, motors, wheels, and freight cars and locomotives in this four-day camp. Explore how railroad track engineers design the track and bridge structures to withstand freight trains weighing over 30 million pounds, how locomotives are powered, how railroad wheels are designed to navigate the curves in the track, and how freight cars can carry up to 286,000 lbs each!
