Altoona student-athletes earn spots on CSC Academic All-District Team

Penn State Altoona women’s basketball student athletes Jess Burns, of South Fayette, and Camryn Figard, of Hollidaysburg, were recognized for their success in the classroom on Tuesday, March 26, when both student athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators’ Division III Academic All-District team.

John Eicher, associate professor of history at Penn State Altoona and 2023-24 Bechtel Lecturer at the University of Waterloo's Conrad Grebel University College, delivered the lecture "A Plot-Driven People: Mennonite Narratives in the Age of Nationalism (1870-1945)" on March 22 at the college.
