Due to potentially dangerous winter weather conditions and water temperatures, the Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, Penn State Altoona Winter Plunge has been moved from Canoe Creek to the Slep Student Center on campus.
Penn State Altoona held its fall 2019 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 21, in the Adler Athletic Complex.
Nearly 75 students participated in the ceremony. Richard DeDonato, a 1977 alumnus, delivered the keynote address. DeDonato has held marketing and advertising positions with numerous companies throughout his career, including his current position with Ecolab. He also is the author of a series of children's books.
Penn State Altoona will hold its fall 2019 commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, in the arena of the Adler Gymnasium. The ceremony also will be offered via livestream on the Penn State Altoona website.
