Upon completion of the ALEKS assessment, first-year students will receive an email on how to register online for the one-day New Student Orientation (NSO) program, available in June and July.
At NSO, you will receive your student ID card, discuss your test results, and schedule classes with an academic adviser. A photo ID must be presented to secure your Penn State ID card. You will be asked to activate your Penn State Access Account at home before you attend NSO. This account provides access to the University’s email system, LionPATH, and other computerized information services.
Your access account is different from your 9-digit Penn State ID.
