When you accept your offer of admission online, you may also choose to pay the $100 on-campus housing deposit. You will receive verification of available housing before you pay this non-refundable acceptance fee.
You must agree to the Housing Financial Statement and the Terms and Conditions of Housing Contract to accept the contract. You will receive a confirmation email when you successfully submit your housing contract.
If accepting by mail: Contact Penn State Altoona’s Housing and Food Services Office at 814-949-5713 after mailing your Acceptance Notification and check or money order. If housing is available, Housing and Food Services staff will verify that you accepted your offer of admission and paid the enrollment fee before offering you a housing contract. You must log on to eLiving and accept the housing contract within 14 business days. You will then need to submit a non-refundable housing fee via check or money order payable to Penn State. You cannot submit the housing fee until the Housing Office offers you a contract and you accept that contract online.
Because interest in on-campus housing exceeds the number of first-year spaces, be sure to submit your housing deposit when you accept your offer. First-year housing spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If housing is not available when you accept your offer of admission, you may choose to be placed on the housing waitlist.
