This degree program focuses on mathematics that can be applied to problems in business, economics, and other social sciences. The primary areas of mathematics for this program are matrix theory, linear programming, and statistics. An approved sequence of 12 credits is required in an area of application outside of mathematics.

Number of credits required for the degree: For the B.S. degree in Mathematics, a minimum of 120 credits is required.
