This degree program is for students whose interests outside mathematics are oriented toward the arts, humanities, and social sciences. The requirements in these areas are greater than those for the Bachelor of Science degree. Students in this degree program are strongly encouraged to select a sequence of courses in an area of application. These courses can be used as supporting courses. Areas similar to those in the Systems Analysis or General Option can be used.
The official requirements and general policy for this degree can be found in the bluebook. Below is a summary of these requirements, included for orientation only. A suggested schedule is provided to help students with scheduling courses.
