Students in the music production track take courses in audio production, composition, music theory, history, and musicianship. In addition, students will have the opportunity to visit and learn about the many facets required of owning, running, and working in a recording studio. Students will also be able to work with our Emerging Music Artist in Residence and a regular slate of visiting musical artists.
Students are encouraged to take theatre production courses to learn and assist in the sound requirements for all the varied performing arts offered at Penn State Altoona: dance, vocal and instrumental music, and theatrical productions.
Opportunities abound for those interested in involvement with musical ensembles, and dance and theatre productions.
