Army ROTC at Penn State Altoona
Welcome to Penn State Altoona Army ROTC! WE ARE Charlie Company of the Nittany Lion Battalion!
The Penn State Army ROTC is regularly ranked in the top 5% of ROTC programs in the nation. The Nittany Lion Battalion is the largest pure ROTC program in the United States. Penn State Altoona Cadets receive the same quality training as those at University Park in a smaller, more intimate setting. Cadets who change campuses to University Park can make the transition without any ROTC issues.
In addition to providing a path to US Army commissioning, ROTC classes can enhance your education by providing unique management and leadership experiences in a controlled environment. They’ll help you develop self-discipline, physical stamina, and confidence. Did you know an Army ROTC scholarship pays FULL tuition, all required fees, $1200 a year for books, and a tax-free stipend of $3000 to $5000 a year? Give us a few minutes to discuss the process and see if this is the right option for you.
You can stop into the Army ROTC office and discuss the available opportunities, or contact the individuals below, who can help you through the process.
