Zolten assists with PBS's "Finding Your Roots" episode

Jerry Zolten assisted in the production of an upcoming episode of the PBS television series Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr. The segment traces the ancestry of Ahmir Khalib Thompson, aka, Questlove, of R&B group The Roots, currently the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The program airs locally on WPSU, December 12 at 8:00 p.m.

Zolten is an associate professor of communication arts and sciences and American studies at Penn State Altoona. He is also an author, musician, CD and radio producer, and speaker in the realm of American Roots Music and Popular Culture.
