Freshman golfer Luke Hoffnagle was voted to the first team of the AMCC All-Conference squad last week following his exceptional first year of college golf with the Lions.

Freshman Luke Hoffnagle (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove) was voted to the first team of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s All-Conference Team, while sophomore Pongthong Thongyai (Patum Thani, Thailand/New Mexico Military Institute) was a third team All-AMCC selection.

Sophomore goalkeeper Tanner Yaw (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) made 22 saves in two games for the Lions last week.

Men’s and Women’s Swimming (combined)

Second Place in the Pitt-Bradford Panther Relays, 166 points

Freshman Hannah Kimmick (Youngwood, PA/Hempfield) was named the AMCC’s Women’s Swimmer of the Week on Monday for her performance in the Pitt-Bradford Relays on Saturday, Oct. 14. Kimmick helped her team to first place finishes in the Women’s 5x100 Yard Freestyle and in the Women’s 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, and she was part of her squad’s second place finish in the Women’s 3x100 Yard Backstroke Relay.

Senior forward Shoshana Mahoney (Sweet Valley, PA/Lake-Lehman) scored four goals in two games for the Lady Lions last week, including notching her first collegiate hat trick in a 4-0 win over Medaille on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Sophomore outside hitter Lauren Diller (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) led her team in kills with 24 (3.00 kills per set) and digs with 29 (3.62 digs per set) in two matches for the women’s volleyball team last week.
