Concert by emerging artist in music set for Nov. 16

ALTOONA – Penn State Altoona’s emerging musical artist, Ben Sieben, will offer a concert Thursday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.  The concert will feature French music for voice and piano with works by composers Gabriel Fauré, Francis Poulenc, and Olivier Messiaen. The concert is free open to the public.

Sieben holds MM’s in Collaborative Piano from the University of Colorado Boulder and in Piano Performance from The University of Utah. He also has a BM in Piano Performance from Houston Baptist University.  In addition to his twenty-five years of classical piano studies, Sieben has played rock and jazz music with several groups and has worked as a choir accompanist for university choirs, community choirs, and summer camps.
