Tulay Girard, professor of marketing, received a Top Paper in Track Award for her co-authored paper, "Internal Services Brand Orientation: Comparing the Perspectives of Managers, Employees, and Customers,” at the 2018 Association of Marketing Theory and Practice Conference held in Florida. The authors developed measurements of the Brand Orientation dimensions and tested the relationships among them, and examined potential Brand Orientation gaps among the perceptions of managers, personnel, and customers of a convenience store chain in the Midwest.

Also at this conference, Girard presented in two panels: “The Recent Trends and Best Practices for Designing Blended/Hybrid/Flipped Courses in Higher Education” and “The Greatest Threat to Marketing Today: A Panel Discussion”. The abstracts of the paper and panels have been published in the conference proceedings.
