Wellness Visits are designed to help you develop healthier eating and/or exercise habits. Appointments are geared directly to the individual student and her/his goals. Students will see a medical provider through Health Services. A thorough health history as well as a physical exam will be completed. Participants learn to make behavior changes by assessing their readiness to change and by developing an action plan geared toward you as a Penn State Altoona student.
Cost
Appointments are billable through the students health insurance. Student will need to bring his/her insurance card/information.
Schedule
Students can schedule an appointment at her/his convenience during office hours.
The initial office visit and any follow up appointments as decided between the provider and the student.
Expectations
You are responsible for scheduling a Wellness Visit appointment. Treatment plans are customized to each individual student. If you do not cancel your appointment one hour beforehand, you will be charged a no show fee.
