Leadership for Life Class of 2016

Leadership for Life

Leadership for Life

Once you graduate, wherever you go … whatever you do, you will be part of a community.

It may be a large city or a small town, but it will be your community. Will you choose to be an active part of it, getting involved to make a positive impact and professional connections? And will you have the skills to jump right in and do that?

That’s what Penn State Altoona’s Leadership for Life program is all about: helping you acquire the skills and confidence to jump right in and make a difference in whatever community your career takes you to.

  • Learn how to lead while learning about yourself
  • Enhance your leadership potential
  • Improve your professional and social life
  • Make an impact in your community as a young professional

Sessions will include topics such as: networking, community service, issues in our society, leaving a legacy, running effective meetings, critical thinking, teamwork, goal setting, how to make an impact your first two years out of college, and more.

Sessions will be held during the spring semester, Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Application deadline is Friday, October 6, 2017.
