Once you accept your offer of admission and pay your enrollment fees, processing will begin on your I-20 through the Office of Global Programs at the University Park campus. Global Programs serves as the I-20 processing center for international students admitted to all of Penn State's twenty campus locations. Watch your email for communication from the Office of Global Programs and visit their pre-arrival advising website for additional information including Financial Guarantee Requirements.
Please note: In addition to the required health and immunizations information described in the section below for all incoming Penn State students, international students are also required to demonstrate that they have health insurance coverage. Additional information is available through the insurance mandate link on the pre-arrival advising website.
Penn State Altoona's Office of Student Affairs coordinates support services for international students enrolled at the campus. Starting the last week of May you will receive the first of a series of emails that continue through August. Each email provides specific information related to topics such as your arrival, orientation and enrollment at Penn State Altoona.
